This chart is from gallup.com. It shows the percentage of people who are democrat and republican that are "very enthusiastic" about voting in 2010. The article that was with this chart said that the party with the higher level of enthusiastic voters tends to do better in elections. I found this surprising though, because I felt that in the last presidential election that there was a lot more enthusiasm, or hype, around the the democratic side of the election. I think the specific candidates in the presidential election were the reason for all the hype though, and that's what it isnt the same for the congressional election.

Employment
I found this graph on gallup.com. It shows the percentage of part-time workers that want to have full-time work. Right now the numbers are lower, which is probably because the unemployment rates aren't as high as they were in previous months either. Now that there are more jobs, there is less competition for jobs. When there is higher unemployment I think that people are more likely to accept a part-time job, even though they want a full-time job, just so that they don't end up having no job at all.
